Family games

A whole village to play in

A hand-painted village where every building is a game. Walk about, step through a door, and play your way to coins, a house to decorate and a vegetable patch of your own.

The painted village from above: cottages along a lane, a river with two wooden bridges, a cobbled square with a fountain, and woods all round.๐ŸŒณ Hand-painted, every bit of it

What it's all about

Learning that feels like playing

๐ŸŽฏ

The real school work

Times tables, spellings, phonics, money and this term's topics, woven into games rather than worksheets.

๐Ÿ”Š

Fair, short questions

Everything can be read aloud, there's no clock ticking, and a slow reader is never penalised. The challenge lives in the world, not the questions.

๐Ÿก

A world that grows

Right answers earn coins. Coins buy furniture, house upgrades and more. Come back tomorrow and there's something new to do.

How you play

Four steps in

  1. Pick who's playing

Family members each have a character and a PIN, so progress is theirs alone. Visitors can play as a guest; guests don't save anything.

  2. Arrive in the village

Tap the ground to walk, tap twice to run, and drag to look ahead. Signposts whisk you across the map.

Tap: walkDouble tap: runDrag: lookPinch: zoom
  3. Step through a door

Every building opens a game. When you're done, you come back out exactly where you went in.

  4. Earn, spend and grow

Coins for right answers. Spend them on your house, plant seeds at the farm, sell what you grow, and tick off the day's jobs.

More on the way

Empty plots around the village are waiting for new games. Each one gets a building of its own.

Day, night and seasons

It follows the real clock

Play after school and the lamps are coming on. Visit in December and there's snow on the trees.

โ˜€๏ธDaytimeBirdsong and butterflies
๐ŸŒ‡SunsetA warm glow over the roofs
๐Ÿฆ‰NightLit windows and an owl
โ„๏ธSeasonsFalling leaves, snow, blossom

Come and have a wander

It works best on an iPad or a computer, and on phones too. Family members sign in with their PIN; visitors can look round as a guest.
